Extending the dream

There's a great Pete Seeger tune i heard on the radio today, it made me cry a little. Tonite i had fun singing it and extending the lyrics as follows. The first refrain is Pete's, and then he sings a couple more verses about how the leaders all sign a treaty and people put down their guns and dance in the streets. Peter Seeger's got a great famous homespun idealist style. So I guess you could call this is my contribution to the Pete Seeger astral memorial theme park.

Last night I had the strangest dream, I ever dreamed before.
I dreamed that all the world agreed, to put an end to war.

Last night I had the strangest dream, I ever dreamed before.
I dreamed that all the world agreed, to feed the hungry poor.

Last night I had the strangest dream, I ever dreamed before.
I dreamed that God is everywhere, but people look away.

Last night I had the strangest dream, I ever dreamed before.
I dreamed I went to heaven, but couldn’t stay there long.

Last night I had the strangest dream, I ever dreamed before.
I dreamed people leave their bodies, and visit other worlds.

Last night I had the strangest dream, I ever dreamed before.
I dreamed people meet the fairies, and together heal the Earth.
